So if I’m in a technical field, I must stay on top of technology changes, otherwise I’ll be become irrelevant.

But if I’m on the management side, I need to still be aware of what are some of the management techniques that I must be aware of to be effective in what I do?

So technical or not, you must always stay on top of the changing skill sets that emerge as a result of the technology changes so that you become effective.

You need to know what you need to do to stay on top of it, regardless of technique technical or management expertise that you are engaged in.”
